Ljubljana Castle, Solovenia

In the middle of the city just slightly away from it all, a mighty medieval fortress stands on a pedestal. From its privileged position it gave us breathtaking views of the surrounding areas, as well as a stroll through the history.

You travel to the castle via Vernacular.

It's high!

Medieval towers in the castle.

We were wondering why it was so cold in June...
there was still snow on the mountains!!

Brela, Croatia

This is one of the hotels in Croatia that I’m most excited about. Villa Paulina is situated just 5 meters from the Adriatic Sea - can you say hours of bobbing around in crystal clear turquoise waters?

6 weeks (and 2 more Visas) to go!
